We’re excited to partner with Alex Makes Art for a fun crafting series hosted in our Pioneer Room at 355 Main Street. Each month, starting in September, join us for a hands-on demonstration led by Alex and her team!
All necessary materials for each craft will be provided. These sessions are free to attend and open to all, but space is limited. Registration is required.

Hue in blue! Play with different shades, washes, and textures of denim to build your own patchwork design, then bring it to life
with colorful embroidery and hand stitching. Layer, snip, stitch, and experiment – no sewing expertise required.

Fall is doing its thing, so we’re taking a cue from the trees! Play with colorful wool roving and needle felting techniques to create a collection of fuzzy fall leaves; perfect for turning into garlands, patches, little decorations, or simply keeping as tiny textile treasures.

Carve it, ink it, stamp it, send it! Design your own hand-carved stamp, then put it to work creating one-of-a-kind gratitude cards for the people who make your world a little brighter. Come ready to slow down, make some marks, and share a little love.

Twist, tuck, felt, and fluff your way into the holiday season! We’ll pair rustic grapevine wreaths with handmade felted flowers, leaves, berries, and other woolly bits to create something festive enough for December—but lovely enough to hang well beyond it.

We’re ending the year with maximum sparkle. Choose an ornament and pile on the gems, glitz, color, and wonderfully over-the-top details to create a tiny treasure for your tree—or a shiny little gift for somebody you love.
Each session is two hours, feel free to drop in and leave when you need, but please don’t arrive any later than 5:30PM to ensure you have time to create!
The Pioneer Room is located within 355 Main Street in Cambridge, MA. You can enter via Main Street or Pioneer Way, be sure to look out for signage for the event!
