Pioneer Room Audio Visual
Welcome to the Pioneer Room!
To manage the functionality of the room and to customize your casting experience, please follow the steps below. You can select your preferred options from the touch screen tablet located on the left wall as you approach the kitchenette (across from the phone booth).
First, select your “USB Host” – There are two casting options:
- Click Share – Wireless option that only works with USBC connection.
- Hard wired – HDMI (via the wall plate located on the left side of the TV)

Once casting option is selected, plug into your device/computer to get your screen to display. If using ClickShare, you may be prompted to run the device, which you will need to do for broadcasting. Once that step is complete, your screen should display.
If using Mac computer – you might need to open USB Drive – the ClickShare app will be located there. Launch app then press button on ClickShare dongle.
Once you have chosen how you want to connect your computer you will need to select your screen(s). Select either the single or double display option
- Single display is the single TV display in the front of the Main Conference Room
- Dual Projector are two projectors and associated screens that will drop down from the ceiling along the Mural Wall.

Camera Control for Video Conferencing
There are 3 camera options within the Pioneer Room.
- Camera 1 located on Mural wall
- Camera 2 located above water machine
- Camera 3 is located on top of TV
To adjust the angle of the camera, select “Camera Control” under the Advanced column and use the arrows on the touch screen to turn the camera to your desired position.

If you wish to utilize the display in the Model Room, you must select that from the touch screen tablet in the main room. You will have to pick from the same two options for display connection– ClickShare and a HDMI. ClickShare dongles can be used in either room; for HDMI connection you’ll need to utilize the wall plate in the Model Room (to the left of the screen).
To display the same content on the screens in both rooms, select “ON” underneath the Overflow option.
Microphones
There are three types of microphones available in the Pioneer Room.
- Wireless Handheld Microphone
- Lavalier Microphone
- Conference Microphones
Only the handled and lavalier microphones will project sound within the space. The conference microphones are intended to be used for a hybrid meeting setting (such as Teams or Zoom) to share room audio with those joining virtually. All three types have an on button; once pressed the light should be green.
Before you go…
Before you leave the Pioneer Room, please turn the System Off by selecting this option from the touch screen tablet. This will turn off the screen and reset the projectors and drop down screens.
Make sure to return the ClickShare and adapter dongles to the counter beneath the screen in the main room and place microphones back in their charging station. If materials are not returned following an event, you may be billed for the cost to replace.
Take all your personal belongings with you before you exit. BXP is not responsible for personal items left within the Pioneer Room following an event.
